PETA Sends A Copy Of Nintendogs To Activision Blizzard

People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) sent a complaint to Activision Blizzard after several Massachusetts high school students protested against the cruelty of dogs in Call of Duty: World at War. PETA sent a copy of Nintendogs to the offices of Activision Blizzard to teach them a lesson in treating dogs. Activision Blizzard responded, "Dogs are included in the game for authenticity since they were used extensively by German, Japanese, U.S. and Soviet troops during the war. Activision in no way endorses or condones cruelty to animals, and we don’t believe the game will encourage cruelty in any way." [Source - Game Politics]
