A New Choplifter Might Be Lifting Off

Brian Fargo's InXile Entertainment last week trademarked the name Choplifter for "downloadable electronic games via the Internet and wireless devices". Fargo is not a stranger to remakes. Fargo's comapny InXile Entertainment remade the 1985 The Bard's Tale in 2004. It is possible that he is looking to do the same for Choplifter through downloadable channels. Choplifter first appeared in 1985 on the Apple IIe. Since then Choplifter was made on the Commodore 64, Atari 5200, Atari 7800, Atari 8-bit, ColecoVision, Commodore 64, MSX, NES, and Sega Master . Soon it might be possible to add Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, or even Nintendo WiiWare ore DSiWare. [Source - GameSpot]
